Disconnect and Block Clients
You can disconnect and block any Test-clients connected or not connected to the Monitor.
You can do it two different ways. The first is to select needed clients from the list of connected clients. The second is to type in the client identification data manually.
Disconnecting Clients
To disconnect a client you need to place him (any identification data about him) in the Disconnection Queue list.
Clients placed in the disconnection queue are not immediately disconnected, but queued for disconnection. Anyway, a client queued for disconnection has no access to the server (Monitor), i.e. cannot request information or apply changes to the server.
Using the Connected Clients List
If you want to disconnect one or more connected clients (not all) then you need to select these clients from Connected Clients list (to select more than one client hold Shift key and select range you need) and press the button (Add selected clients to disconnection queue) to add them to the Disconnection Queue list.
If you want to disconnect all connected clients then just click the button (Add all clients to the disconnection queue).
The same steps are used to remove not yet disconnected clients from the disconnection queue: click the button to remove the selected clients (selected in the Disconnection Queue list) and the button to remove all clients from the disconnection queue.
Using Computer Name, IP-Address and User Name
You can add a client to disconnection queue by entering its identification data (i.e. computer name or computer IP-address where client executed or name of the currently logged user on that computer).
You can enter client's computer name to the "Disconnect using Computer Name" input field and press the Enter key or browse the computer name on the network tree using the button.
You can enter client's computer IP-address to the "Disconnect using IP-Address" input field and press the Enter key or the button.
You can enter client's computer user name to the "Disconnect using User Name" input field and press the Enter key or the button.
Blocking Clients
To block a client you need to place him (any identification data about him) to the Blocked Clients list (list of blocked clients).
If a client you placed in the blocked clients list has not yet been disconnected, it will be automatically disconnected (like placing him on disconnection queue) and then blocked.
Using the Connected Clients List
If you want to block one or more connected clients (not all) then you need to select these clients from the Connected Clients list (to select more than one client hold the Shift key and select the range you need) and press the button (Add the selected clients to the list of blocked clients).
If you want to block all connected clients then just click the button (Add all clients to the list of blocked clients).
The same way you can remove clients from the list of blocked clients: click the button to remove the selected clients (after selecting them from the Blocked Clients list) and the button to remove all clients from the list of blocked clients.
